Power searching with the Pros

I have just had a fascinating week at work - or should I say "away from work - work". I've had the lucky fortune to attend a two day seminar with Mary Ellen Bates of "Bates Information Services" and Chris Sherman, Executive Editor of "SearchEngineLand.com".
The title of said seminar was "Power Searching with the Pros" - Day 1 "It's all about search" - a very comprehensive view of Google, Bing and Yahoo. Time was also spent looking at Social Media - Twitter, Facebook, etc.
 The main thing I took away from these two days was to keep abreast of the changing technologies, check out social media - and look at how "you look" on these services.
